In order to keep rescuing unwanted pets, we need your support....
Please considering helping Tara's House pull dogs from certain death in a West Virginia shelter and then giving them a second chance for a happy life with a permanent loving home in the Washington, DC Metro Area. All donations are tax deductable and will go to the rescue and the veterinary care of our dogs.
Because we work with shelters that support relatively poor regions in West Virginia, they cannot rely on their surrounding communities for monetary or in-kind support, we are charged a fee for each dog we agree to rescue from them. Your donations will help us pay these 'rescue' fees and initial veterinary care so they can cross State lines.
Want to help Tara's House rescue more dogs from high-kill shelters, please consider starting an endowment fund that we can leverage to cover all fees associated with the rescue of such dogs.
