Donations To: All Our Animal Loving Friends To help the hundreds of abandoned and homeless dogs in Louisiana, a friend of ours that helps transport rescued dachshunds to Maryland has decided to open a shelter for abandoned and abused dogs. She has applied for 501c3 status to open The Humane Society of Louisiana in Start, LA. Our friend, Casey, has done more for dogs than you can imagine with no support at all. THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN! We are trying to collect dog supplies (crates, beds, blankets, towels, leashes, collars, food bowls, dog/cat food, etc) to give to her when she travels to MD to transport dogs to us. If you or anyone you know has dog supplies (new or used) that you can donate, we would be most grateful. If you'd rather give a monetary donation please make a check payable to The Humane Society of Louisiana, Delta Chapter, and mail it to P.O. Box 5, Start, LA 71279. We are collecting supplies in Olney, Annapolis, and Glen Burnie, MD. There is no deadline for collecting items as rescue continues 24/7, but we would love to give her some supplies when she travels to MD in December and January as a way of saying "Happy Holidays". Please let me know if you have any supplies and if you can drop them off in either Olney, Annapolis or Glen Burnie. Thanks!!! Contact: Gabby Meline
703-470-7892
Actively looking to rehome Sasha, a pit mix. She is
approx 75lbs and black and white. She is wonderful,
submissive, well socialed (regular at doggy daycare),
gets along well with other dogs, children and men. One
cat experience and did ok. Sasha is looking for a new
home because her owner has to move and only one dog is
able to come to their new home. Their other dog is less
adoptable and older which is why they are looking
to re-home Sasha. Sasha is a 1year old (Birthday on
March 4th) pit. She is up to date on her shots and
spayed.
