Tara's House Animal Rescue

Your 2010 New Year's Resolution with Tara's House

I pledge to support Tara's House and Rescued Dogs in 2010 by:

Contributing to Taz's Surgery and Post Op Care
Taz needs your help to recover from being struck by a car Taz is a year old Mastiff/Shar Pai mix who Tara's House pulled from a high kill shelter in Kentucky in early 2009.  Taz was actually adopted this summer, but got loose from his forever home and ran away.  Tara's House staff spent months and months searching for him and working with local shelters until we finally found him starving and suffering from broken bones associated with being hit by a car.

After recovering Taz, we took him to our vet for evaluation and eventual emergency surgery.  Taz is recovering at a foster home put needs much follow up care and food to regain his strength - and Tara's House is incurring great vet bills to heal Taz.

Please consider making your New Year's Resolution to help heal Taz and get him ready for adoption!

Contributing to Transport Rescued Dogs to Tara's House
Tara's House works with high kill shelters in Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and elsewhere to find dogs in the greatest need of rescue.  We then arrange for transport from those shelters to our volunteers and foster homes.

Many do not know that the transports charge Tara's House to take these newly rescued dogs from the shelters to us here in Maryland.  Depending on the distance, these fees can be high.

Please consider making your New Year's Resolution to help Tara's House transport more dogs from high kill shelters to rescue in 2010!

Our dogs are not transported in this way all the time
